Flair attacks Piper on Superstars Flashback of the Week

WWF Superstars, Fall 1992.
Flair approaches the ring for a match ... coming out to his 2001 theme music instead of the later-used WWF variation. He also has the NWA title, which, by the way, is not video distorted. Or a WWF tag title either.
Flair stops at the announcer's podium, which contains Vince, Macho Man and Roddy Piper.
Piper: "I don't want no trouble. I need a job and have a job."
Savage tells Roddy to "be cool" as Flair starts slapping Piper in the back of the head. Piper stands after his ear-piece is knocked off.
Flair starts mouthing-off to Piper but it's inaudible ... Flair turns around and loudly asks, "McMahon, do you have a problem calling me 'Champ?'" Flair whips around, swiping Piper with the NWA title in the process.
Piper falls off the podium and Flair follows. Referees and officials flood the area ... Savage jumps down and Vince tells us that Savage had better "stay out of it--he's on probation!"
Flair continues to attack Piper and Vince asks, "Is this what a 'Real Champion' is all about?"
Vince decides to help break-up the scuffle ... moments later, a dazed Piper smacks Vince in the back with a chair. A wood chair, no less.
Flair grabs the chair and delivers a nasty chair-shot to the head of Piper. When was the last time we saw a wooden chair-shot?
"The Real Champ" raises his belt and leaves as Savage and the officials care for the fallen.
This was truly innovative for the time. The chaotic, spontaneous angles were not common for the time. This angle would mark the 1st chair-shot on Vince McMahon.
