From WWF Heat ... SummerSlam '98 match... Dustin is shown kneeling in the ring, praying. Gangrel truly had one of the best intros, best musical scores and best characters. They really need to bring him back. Per usual, a cool intro with candles and red smoke followed by the spewing of the mist. The announcers (J.R., Shane McMahon and Shawn Michaels) ponder what "that red substance" is. Gangrel looks freaky ... Dustin tries a handshake but gets attacked for his efforts. After a few minutes, Dustin gets in a bulldog followed by a drop kick. Shane comments that Gangrel is wearing a "cool shirt." Speaking of shirts, Dustin's says "HE IS COMING BACK." Gangrel hits Dustin with a powerslam followed by a corkscrew elbow for the 2-count. Unfortunately, the crowd seems to be oblivious that a really good match is occuring. Michaels says that his cable bill is often unpaid. Yeah, right. Dustin delivers a reverse atomic drop followed by a nice clothesline and a 2-count. Dustin goes for a second reverse atomic drop but Gangrel reverses into the Implant DDT. A great spot that ends in the 1-2-3. J.R. mentions that Gangrel is undefeated. Great match between two of the greatest WWF gimmicks...
